You can learn a lot of things from the flowers

Today I get to finally walk around and see the inside of our location spot. I’ve only been twice, but neither time I got to go venture into the little inside area because it was locked. We”re (as in Mom and I) meeting the wedding planner over there too, so she can finally take a look at the venue.

Afterward, Mom set up a meeting with a florist that’s practically right next door, so we can talk about the ideas I have. It’ll be my first florist meeting too, and I hope I don’t go totally overboard. The flowers are kind of a big deal to me, because I love them, and I want them to look really nice. I figured it was a good choice to have the wedding outside, so as to not need quite so many.

Here’s what I’ve been thinking for bouquet choices-

I’m very drawn to orange, but I think it has to be a little more subdued than this. I still love this one though:

I love how this one looks like the colors found in sari fabrics:

I love love love the hue of these roses – magenta, not red.

And lastly, for all the marbles, I love this:

P.S. – A full day with me (be excited) for anyone who knows what movie I swiped the title from. Or you know, maybe a drink or two.
