I’ve enlisted the help of the fabulous Ellie of The Lucky Nest and Rainy Day Templates to give my blog a reboot. She and I have been exchanging emails this week trying to figure out what works best. She’s quick and full of questions. I’d highly recommend popping over to take a peek.

Saturday morning I banked it at Garden Ridge on my Christmas decorations hunt. All their trees were 50% off, so I found one that has a foot pedal off switch and it’s already pre-lit (hurrah!).
I got lucky and found some beautiful feathered balls to fill up two glass hurricanes I received as wedding gifts. I also bought two pillar candle wreaths, 3 wreath hangers, a bag of tealights, pretty wrapping paper, and baseball-sized antique bells to hang on the doorknobs.
But sadly, no partridge and no pear tree. 
Aw! Yay! Soon we will both have Ellie-fied blogs! 🙂
I want to decorate for Christmas so badly, but with a cross-country move in my not-so-distant future, it just doesn’t seem practical to accumulate more stuff. 🙁
Oh totally. I had a few decorative things from when I lived alone a few years ago, but I was really pumped to “do it bigger” this year. 🙂
