I Need Musical Guidance

Music. It has been one of the hardest and yet one of the easiest things about the whole shebang. I *knew* what I wanted to dance with my Dad to. It was a given, and it was done. Some of the other songs were givens, too. But not the song I walk down to.

I’ve been toying with one particular song for months, and all my friends say, “Yeah! Walk down to that!” But, it’s not considered a classic like say, Cat Stevens, the Beatles, or somebody like that. But I like it.

Scratch that, I love it. I lurve it. I luff it. Whatever the case may be, I worry that it’s not *the* song.

And then I counteract my own argument – isn’t the important part that I love it? And that when I think of it from that moment on, post-wedding, it gets to be the song I walk down the aisle to?

So, if you have a sec, listen to it and tell me what you think. It’s really long, so know that I’m thinking like, the first two minutes here. (Zac, Chad, and other musically inclined boys, this means you. Pretty please?)

  1. thats cool. it kind of has a “marching” drum roll in it anyway…haha. whatever you pick will be fine. you still have time. just have fun with it.

  2. im pro anything Explosions in the Sky

  3. To both of you – thanks for listening to it! I realized it’s not the actual version I want because it doesn’t have the strings.

I’m gonna keep looking, but this is a contender, for sure.
