So apparently, we’re on the ball as far as this wedding shindig goes. We’re at just under 10 months and have most of our vendors in line already. I guess there’s something to be said for extreme organization.
Like, extreme. One of those “silly commercials with a guy wearing a helmet jumping off a cliff while he’s drinking a can of X-Scream Energy! or whatever energy drink convinced him cliff diving was a good idea” kind of extreme.
Ok, maybe not that bad. that was my attempt at being comical this morning.
Regardless, I’m scouring all these wedding websites (weddingbee, theknot, to name a few) for possibilities on reception music.
And I’m not finding much.
Butterfly Kisses?
I loved her First?
My Girl? (don’t get me wrong, I like it, but solely for the cliche factor)
Hero?
Is this all you guys can come up with? Sappy top 40’s Casey Kasem garbage? Where’s the fun??
Oscar and I started to plan the iTunes list in the first couple weeks. Music is very important to both of us, and we both knew we wanted a nice array of tunes we both like. I think the issue we’ll have is too much music rather than too little.
HE loves 80’s, hardcore, anything girlie-indie, and lots of (I hope I can call it this) old-school punk rock
SHE loves most classic rock, blues, motown, anything girlie-indie, and some hardcore.
THEY met at a house show, and little did they know, four years later, it was love at first sight.
Does it make you want to throw up in your mouth a little?
I guess the point of this blog was to say, Anyone who’s coming better like to dance.
To this guy.
